I respectfully acknowledge that my studio in Calgary is located on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 nations, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (comprising the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations).

This land is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. I honor and recognize the deep connection that Indigenous peoples have to this land and their ongoing contributions to the community and culture in this region.
